The daughter of UMC pastors and missionaries, Rev. Grace Sunkhil Han was born in the Philippines and raised in Korea and the United States. She is a graduate of Oberlin College (B.A.) and Yale Divinity School (M. Div) and was ordained in the Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church in 2017. 

Rev. Han has served as the Lead Pastor at Trinity United Methodist Church in Alexandria, VA, and as the Associate Pastor at St. Matthew’s UMC in Annandale, VA. Rev. Han was a delegate to General and Jurisdictional conference, served on the Executive Board of the Board of Ordained Ministry, and serves on the Board of Wespath Benefits and Investments. 

Rev. Han is deeply passionate about what it means to be true disciples of Jesus Christ, including growing deeper in our spiritual formation as well as engaging with our community outside the walls of the church. Rev. Han is married to Dr. Chris Meserole, and they have two awesome children, Dahae and Auden. Together, they love to go hiking, eat Korean barbecue, and watch Star Wars.
