Is God Calling You to Serve in 2026?

At the Three Notch’d District Conference on Sunday, November 23, one agenda item will be voting for 2026 District Leadership.  Clergy and/or laity will be elected for three-year terms for the District Leadership Board (DLB) and the District Board on Church Location and Building (DBCLB). The Nomination form for the DLB & DBCLB can be accessed here. The deadline to submit a nomination is Monday, November 10. Please note that completing a Nominations form does not guarantee a nomination for 2026.

We are also seeking laity to serve as District Lay Members to Annual Conference and attend the 2026 Annual Conference to be held from June 18 to 20 in Harrisonburg, VA. A stipend is provided to help with expenses. The Nomination form for District Lay Members may be accessed here. The deadline to submit a nomination is Monday, November 10.

We are looking for people who feel called to share their gifts with the District for these important positions. Please pray about this opportunity to serve.  Feel free to share this information with people in your congregation.  Should you need assistance with completing the Google form or have any questions, please contact TNDistrict@vaumc.org or 804-521 1124. Thank you in advance for your support of the Three Notch’d District!
