Cross Racial Cross Cultural Training – July 11 at Aldersgate UMC
The Rev. Lan Wilson, VAUMC Director of Belonging and Advocacy, is facilitating an in-person training workshop on Saturday, July 11, 10:00am-2:00pm, at Aldersgate UMC, 1500 E Rio Rd, Charlottesville, for all clergy and laity at churches with cross racial/cross cultural appointments.
This training is required for all churches in a Cross Racial Cross Cultural appointment as of July 1, whether newly appointed or continuing. Each church should have their pastor as well as ten key stakeholders from the congregation register for this workshop.
There is no cost for the workshop. Light refreshments will be available from 9:30 am to 10:00 am, and the event will begin at 10:00 am. Lunch will also be provided.
