Three Notch’d District Nominations

UPDATE: 

The Nominations Team is in full swing preparing to interview those currently serving and those interested in serving our district for leadership beginning July 1, 2023.  Thank you for your energy and enthusiasm around using your gifts to serve God in this way!

Interviews will be completed by early February and invitations will be made to those selected individuals by the end of February.

Mark your calendars now to attend the Special Called District Conference on March 19, 2023 at 4pm via Zoom to vote to approve the slate. More details about registration will be sent through our weekly Three Notch’d District email. 

District leadership board (DLB)

governance and stewardship

Gifts to serve: spiritually mature individuals that have the following leadership traits: analytical, likes numbers and policies, not afraid of accountability, and are big picture thinkers.

This board is responsible for the administration of the district to include the tasks of Superintendency, Finance, Trustees, and Nominations. This board will also relate to the various Ministry Teams within the district. 

This team will meet four to five times per year via Zoom with one meeting in person. In between meetings, email will be used for decision making and information sharing.  


DISTRICT BOARD OF CHURCH LOCATION AND BUILDING (DBCLB)

strategy 

Gifts to serve: spiritually mature individuals that have the following leadership traits: strategic and visionary, in touch with the community throughout the district, history of growing ministries or businesses, real estate background or experience, entrepreneurial spirit, and not afraid of experimentation.

This board partners with the District Superintendent to develop and implement an overall strategy and is responsible for reviewing building projects and purchases, property use and repurposing; elected at Annual Conference.

This board will meet monthly via Zoom, with one of the meetings in person. In between meetings, email will be used for decision making and information sharing.
